Swapping electric motor on an air compressor. Each compressor pump has a max rpm intended. There are many different RPM ranges of electric motors.
To calculate the needed pulley sizes to set the pump rpm you will need:
Compressor pump pulley diameter
Expected Pump rpm range aka 600-1000 rpm
Electric Motor RPM
Calculate the pulley size for the motor to get the rpm needed.
I have 10", 3600 rpm, and 2.5" which equals a 900 rpm operating rpm at the compressor.
